In speaking to many of my subscribers, I'm always surprised they discuss towns with me on the basis of what their friends, co-workers, and family members have told them are nice places they should check out!

I always stop them and ask one really important question, "What's Important To You"? I usually get a glazed over, confused look as if it's the first time they're really considering it and focusing on it.

This isn't some spiritually-based conversation I'm trying to get you to have.  It's concrete, point for point, soul-searching you must do.  Maybe that's why so many people avoid it.  It takes some time and effort.  It's easier to say, "Well cousin John said Wilmington, North Carolina and Charleston, South Carolina are really nice".
